DSLR Portrait with Paul

I actually light metered and everything! :)
Fixed in Lightroom

Ahh!!

These first few weeks of RIT have been CRAZY. PA 1 is almost done, I start PA 2 on Tuesday. Kind of exciting but stressful because EVERYTHING is due Friday and Monday. It's insane. I've learned so much in 3 weeks though. It's amazing. Shutter speeds, F/stops, Lighting, Catch lights, Portraits, Color schemes....so much.
I'm working on my Tans-photo project right now. It's a long term project. I'm trying to tell a story about life without my mom. It's been a healing process, and I'm excited to share it with everyone. My portfolio is growing every day, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

Jerry Uelsmann

Jerry Uelsmann is amazing. He does all of this manipulation in the dark room!

This is really helpful for research!!!

Julie De Waroquier

These images are amazing in my opinion. I really like the colors she uses and the themes she uses. These images make you feel like you're in a dream. Very surreal. I'd love to try shooting something like this someday.

Lauren Randolph

Lauren Randolph's photographs are really inspiring. Her use of color is amazing. This is a really cool example of a splash of color almost. Everything is neutral except her skirt and flowers - the red really pops! The dramatic shadow is really cool too. I'd really like to photograph like this. It makes you think - Why is she running? Why is she dropping roses? What's going on?

52 Pick Up

One of the photos I took for my "Camera Basics" Assignment. Wasn't used as a final.

Sunset From Parking Lot Victor NY

I started RIT today! First Photo Arts class went really well. It's going to be an intense couple of weeks, but I'm really excited. One of the assignments is to create a blog or continue one you already have - so I'm continuing this one for class.
